In this guide you’ll learn more about what information is needed by the Moz Help Team so they can assist with issues related to the Moz Links API.
Overview
If you need help with the Links API, we encourage you to check out the guides in the Help Hub. Many common issues are addressed there along with troubleshooting tips and tricks. You can use the left-hand navigation to browse by section or the search bar to query a specific phrase.
If you’re unable to find the answer to your query or you have a question for the Help Team, you can reach them by emailing help@moz.proxybugs.com or by using the contact form.
When submitting your support request to the team, we ask that you include as much information as you can so the team can help you as efficiently as possible. Below we’ve outlined the type of information needed in order to help with common queries.
Help With The Links API
If you’re having trouble with Links API-related issues, the Moz Help Team will need as much of the following information as possible in order to assist:
- The email address associated with your API credentials (DO NOT send your secret key to the Help Team)
- The endpoint you’re trying to access
- The data points you’re trying to request (i.e. inbound links, metadata, etc.)
- The target you want to pull data for (i.e. the URL or root domain)
- The full call being made
- Details regarding the issue (i.e. the data you need help with or the response received when making the call)
Please note: The Help Team is unable to assist with troubleshooting third-party code written to access the Links API.
If there is any other information needed in order to assist, the Help Team will reach out via email. Please keep an eye out for communications from the team.
